Cut the threaded axle cap open to check threads looks great as picture shows, set screw treads also good. Please do your homework on bike fitment ask questions if needed. Checked it does look like very minor pitting possibly in the steel middle area of shaft but nothing to hurt performance. This is a new N.O.S.
